STREAMROD

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Welcome to StreamRod. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the StreamRod website and studio (the “Service”). By creating a studio, joining one, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

StreamRod is a browser-based studio for recording podcasts and live conversations. It lets a producer create a studio, invite guests with a link, compose scenes, graphics and music, and record the result. StreamRod is currently offered as a beta: features may change, and the Service may occasionally be unavailable while we improve it.

2. Who can use StreamRod

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to consent to online services in your country, to use StreamRod. If you use StreamRod on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

3. Studios, links and producer access

4. Recording and consent

Recording laws differ by country and region, and many require the consent of everyone being recorded. Before you record, you must tell all participants and obtain any consent required by law. You are solely responsible for how you record, store, edit, publish and share recordings.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you bring to StreamRod — your voice and video, recordings, text, logos, images, videos and music (“Your Content”). You grant StreamRod a limited permission to host, transmit, process and display Your Content only as needed to operate the Service for you.

You confirm that you have all rights needed for Your Content. In particular, music, images and video you add must be yours or properly licensed for the way you use them, including playing them to guests and including them in recordings you publish.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use StreamRod to:

We may remove content or restrict access when we reasonably believe these Terms are being violated.

7. Third-party services

StreamRod relies on trusted providers to work, including LiveKit for real-time audio and video, Railway for hosting, and Google Fonts for typography. Live captions use your browser’s built-in speech recognition, which may be provided by your browser’s maker. Their own terms and policies apply to their services. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep StreamRod reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, or that recordings will never be lost. Always download a copy of recordings that matter to you. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StreamRod and its founder will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, recordings, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Ending your use

You may stop using StreamRod at any time. We may suspend or end access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect the Service or other users.

12. Investment conversations

Information StreamRod shares about investment opportunities is informational only and is not an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any securities. Any investment would be subject to separate agreements and applicable law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as StreamRod evolves. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
